Kerimae, as I was reading this, I was thinking about how much I enjoy my Morning by Morning devotional by Spurgeon. And then THERE IT WAS, right before my eyes. You wrote about it. What a precious book. I force myself to read it slowly and I read it out loud softly. Oh my, the beauty of those spoken words. Many times, I can barely finish because my heart is so full.

It is definitely Fall in Alaska. I love places like Hobby Lobby. We don't have one. I shop when I travel. Over the years I have filled several totes with swags of orange leaves and multi-colored pumpkins to add color to brighten my days. I think it is a holdover from the daycare years and decorating the house up for the littles. I'm home by myself a lot. It helps to have pretty things (even pretty Styrofoam things) to look at.

15 more Fridays until Christmas. That thought makes me happy. Tomorrow (this is me rambling) granddaughter number 7 turns 6 years old. They live 10 minutes away. It will be a fun Friday.

Take care............... Sandy

My thumb hit the send before I was finished 😂

I like decorating for autumn, too! Mostly we make sure our Christmas lights hung in the kitchen and dining room are all in working order because I love that glow when it is so dark outside (I know you can relate!). And then we get piles and piles of winter squashes from our local farm. And dried flowers! I just love all of the colors. As much as I love Christmas, I like autumnal colors far more than red and green. I should figure out how to decorate more for Christmas with autumnal colors. Looking forward to my sweaters, hot soup and bread meals, and lots of reading and knitting.
